Terms of Use
Last updated 2 September 2026.
By creating an alert you agree to these terms. In short: Vagalerta is a private, independent service with no connection to the Brazilian Federal Police or any government body. It tells you when an appointment slot opens on the Agenda Web. We do not book anything for you, and we cannot guarantee you will get a slot.
1. Who operates this
Vagalerta is independently operated and reachable at [email protected]. It runs in partnership with GetBrazilVisa, which works in Brazilian immigration, but the alert is a separate product and using it requires buying nothing.
2. What the service does
We query the public availability endpoint of the Federal Police Agenda Web for the unit and service you selected, and notify you when a slot appears. That is the whole product.
3. What it does not do, and what we do not promise
- We do not book, reserve, cancel or modify anyone's appointment.
- We do not log in on anyone's behalf and do not access case files.
- We do not solve, bypass or automate captcha.
- We do not increase the number of slots and give no one priority.
- We are not an official booking channel and charge no government fee.
- We do not give legal advice about your case.
We do not guarantee that you will receive a notification, or that you will get a slot. Alerts depend on systems we do not control. The Agenda Web can go down, change format or return errors; email can be delayed or filtered as spam; and a slot can be taken before you open the message. The service is provided as is, on a best-effort basis, with no warranty of availability or outcome.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- resell, redistribute or commercially exploit the alerts without written permission;
- register other people's email addresses without their knowledge;
- overload, circumvent or automate access to the service outside the interface provided;
- use the service for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or end an alert that breaks these rules or generates volume inconsistent with normal use.
5. Free service and business plans
Email alerts are free for individuals and can be cancelled at any time using the link in every message. We may change, limit or discontinue the free service, with reasonable notice where possible.
Law firms and consultancies using dedicated or white-labelled panels operate under a separate agreement, which these terms do not replace.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed deadlines, missed slots, travel costs, rebooking, fines or any loss arising from a notification that was not sent, sent late, or sent with outdated information. Tracking your own case and its deadlines remains your responsibility.
7. Relationship with government bodies
We have no affiliation, agreement, sponsorship or special authorisation from the Federal Police, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, or any other body. We read only public availability information, and we reuse a single query for everyone watching the same unit and service, so the volume we generate does not grow with the number of users. If any public body would prefer this access to stop or change frequency, write to [email protected] and we will comply.
8. Personal data
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, under Brazil's LGPD (Law 13.709/2018).
9. Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top indicates the current version, and material changes are emailed to anyone with an active alert.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Brazilian law, with venue at the user's domicile as provided by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
