About Vagalerta
Vagalerta is a private, independent service that watches Brazil's Agenda Web, the Federal Police appointment system, and emails you when a slot opens at the unit and service you chose. We have no connection to the Federal Police, the Ministry of Justice or any public body, and we are not an official booking channel. The alert is free.
Why this exists
Agenda Web has no waiting list. Units release blocks of appointments with no published calendar and no notice, and those blocks are often taken within hours. In practice the people who get an appointment are the ones who happened to have the page open at the right minute, and everyone else spends weeks refreshing the same screen.
Vagalerta solves that minute and nothing else. We do not create slots, we do not give anyone priority, and we have no influence over availability.
Where it came from
The tool came out of a repeated, real problem in immigration work: people whose residence authorisation had already been published in the Diário Oficial da União, with a deadline running, unable to find a slot to register with the Federal Police. Vagalerta is operated in partnership with GetBrazilVisa, which works in Brazilian immigration and whose legal work is carried out by an OAB-registered lawyer. The alert itself is a separate product: free, and open to anyone without hiring anything.
What we do
- Check the public Agenda Web availability endpoint for the unit and service you selected.
- Email you when a slot appears, naming the unit, the service and the first available month.
- Reuse one check for everyone watching the same unit and service, so the load we place on the Federal Police system does not grow with the number of users.
What we do not do
- We do not book, reserve, cancel or change anyone's appointment.
- We do not log in on anyone's behalf and we do not access cases.
- We do not solve, bypass or automate captchas.
- We do not cover passports, which are on SINPA, a separate system with a captcha at the entrance.
- We do not present ourselves as a public body and we do not charge any official fee.
- We do not give legal advice on your case.
Data
We keep only the email address you give, the unit and service you choose, and minimal technical security records. We do not ask for a protocol number or date of birth. We do not share data with third parties for advertising. On cancellation, data is deleted within 30 days, and immediate deletion can be requested at any time. Handled under Brazil's LGPD, Law 13.709/2018.
